Gheri is a thick cotton cloth handwoven in Nepal, usually in stripes. It's heavy enough to keep a cold wind off at a campfire, and soft enough to fall asleep in.
Is it a poncho or a Baja hoodie?
Both. It has the hood and the big front pocket of a Baja hoodie, but it's cut wider and longer, like a poncho, so it goes over a sweater and still hangs loose.
